Letters to you, and what I'm learning
“What would you want them to have of yours — not objects, but pieces of you?”
Why this question
Your values, your habits of mind, your ways of loving. What you'd most want to pass on.
Capturing it in voice
- ·Say the date and their age out loud at the start. In ten years that one detail will do half the work.
- ·If a sibling wanders in mid-recording, keep going. The interruption is the memory.
- ·Answer it yourself first, then ask them the same question and keep both. Two voices, one moment.
