Their childhood, your keeping
The privacy policy a parent would write.
LittleWeave holds recordings of and about children. We treat that as the most serious thing about this product, and this policy is written accordingly — short, plain, and strict.
Last updated 10 June 2026.
What we hold
Your recordings (audio + the transcripts we generate from them), your photos (if you attach any), the prompts you’ve answered, and your account details (name, email). Recordings are made by adults — about their children, or with their children present and speaking. The account always belongs to an adult; children don’t have accounts.
Children’s data, specifically
A child’s voice is personal data of a particularly precious kind. So: everything is private by default— nothing you record is ever public, discoverable, or shared beyond the people you explicitly invite. We never use children’s recordings to train models, build profiles, or for any purpose other than playing them back to your family. As the account holder, you can delete any recording — or the whole archive — at any time, and when your child is old enough to have a view, the export tools mean the archive can simply be handed to them.
Why we hold it
To play your recordings back when you ask. To build your child’s timeline. To compose the book, if you want one. To share with the family members you invite. That’s the whole list.
Who can see and hear it
You, and the people you invite. Nobody else. Not LittleWeave staff (we don’t listen in unless you write to us about a specific recording and explicitly ask for help). Not advertisers — we don’t have any. Not researchers. No third party, ever, except the suppliers who store and transcribe the audio under contract for us — and they may not use it for anything else.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. If you ever stop using LittleWeave, your archive stays exportable — we don’t hold memories to ransom. If you delete your account, everything is gone from our systems within 30 days (usually much sooner). Anything you’ve exported is yours and stays with you.
Your rights, under UK GDPR

- You can correct a transcript that misheard you, or them.
- You can delete a single recording, a child’s whole timeline, or your entire account. We comply within 30 days; in practice it’s usually within 24 hours.
- You can ask us, in writing, what we hold about you and your family. We’ll tell you within 28 days.
Cookies & tracking
One cookie to keep you signed in, and an anonymised visit count on the marketing pages. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind — and certainly not around children’s data.
